Welcome to Team Fractal Typhoon (aka Team 20) UCSD Bioengineering Senior Design Project website. Our design project entails the design of a platform for optical porous silicon biosensing. As you go through the pages of this site, you will discover how the development of this device will aid in the research of Dr. Michael Sailor's Laboratory. The Sailor Lab is primarily interested in the use of silicon chips to aid in the detection and study of protein interactions.
